COMMON PAIN TYPES

Bulging Disk
The tough fibers along the outer portion of the disc have been overly stretched and are bulging into the spinal canal. This causes inflammation and pressure on the nerve root, both of which can cause back pain.
Scoliosis
An abnormal lateral C- or S-shaped curve of the spine that often occurs during growth spurts just before and after puberty. The cause of most scoliosis cases is unknown. Typically the pain you experience is the result of pressure on your spinal discs. If the curve becomes significant enough, it may lead to worsening arthritis, degenerative disc disease and back pain.
